This place was not what I expected at all! I came during a Sunday the place it’s self is small but boy was it busy! We had to wait for a table it took less the 5 minutes. The place is very clean and organized beautiful place. The waiter we got was amazing! So nice and respectful! Drinks were so good! The food was delicious! I will say though the meals portion are a little small in our opinion! I didn’t leave full and I always tend to take my left overs home but not at this place. I do still recommend it for sure !!! I will definitely be back !

We stopped in here at El Toro on a whim since our normal restaurant changed hours on Monday. I'm really glad we found this place. The steak and shrimp fajitas were amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned. And you get a very generous amount for the price! My fiance had chimichangas, which she enjoyed thoroughly. Complimentary chips and salsa, the house made salsa is just the perfect amount of heat and flavor. Service was really good, everyone was very friendly, and the way the decor is set up makes you forget that you're in a strip mall. Definitely found another local favorite.
This place is incredible. The Burrito Al Carbon is very good! Their homemade salsa is delicious. Hot sauce is I would for sure recommend this over pretty much every Mexican place in Nashville. ...

Great Mexican restaurant hidden in a small strip mall. Locally owned, everyone there is super nice, and they can cook some amazing food. Fajitas and chimichangas were excellent! This is authentic Mexican food, not the Tex-Mex stuff. The staff are all friendly, and they give you generous portions! You can't go wrong going here.
This is the best Mexican food in the entire eastern half of Nashville. It's no wonder it's so busy. The food is outstanding. It's seasoned perfectly, and served super hot off the grill. The Chile verde is so delicious, and I love the roasted jalapenos with it. I always enjoy the Burrito al Carbon, Tacos Gobernador, and Birria Tacos as well. The chips and salsa and cheese dip are good here. Even just the basic combo plates are delicious at this place. And I can't say enough about the service. The young lady who greets you at the door and puts your name on a list and eventually seats you is very friendly. The servers are all a pleasure, and they are very attentive, constantly checking on you as they go by. Your glass won't sit empty at el Toro Loco.
The food here was one of the best burritos I've had at an American Mexican restaurant. The chips were perfect and the salsa was just the right account of thickness. I will go back if I'm looking for Mexican in the Nashville area. It was delicious
